Guam - A Father Duenas Memorial High School graduate received his white coat and will be entering medical school at the John A. Burns School of Medicine in the Aloha State. Paul Aguon was one of 66 aspiring doctors who were chosen from among 1,600 applicants who sought to study at the University of Hawaii's Medical School.

In addition to getting his white coat, Aguon also recited the Hippocratic Oath, sacred to the profession as members begin their journey to become healers. The 66 join will be studying alongside the 200 other students pursuing their MDs at the school.

Aguon is also fortunate, as his class is the first Burns School class that will be using iPads for all of their coursework.
