Guam - A motorcyclist who was killed on Monday night in Agat was a Navy sailor attached to Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Guam. The sailor, identified by police as 43-year-old Anna Sterling of Santa Rita, who was riding a 2008 Harley Davidson Night Rod and was traveling south on Route 2 in Agat when she was struck by a 2003 Toyota Matrix driven by 43-year-old Endy Timoti of Agat.

Police say Timoti was traveling in the opposite direction but veered into the other lane, striking Sterling and pinning her underneath the car and dragging her. She was transported to Naval Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Timoti was arrested on Monday night and charged with vehicular homicide, DUI, DUI with blood alcohol content greater than .08%, not having a driver's license and driving other than the right hand side of the roadway.

Sterling's death marks the sixth traffic-related fatality this year.
