Guam - After several weeks of revisions, the Attorney General's Office has finally received a copy of the contract for Joseph Verga. The new administrator of the Guam Memorial Hospital was supposed to have started his new job on July 1, but because of various delays with the approval of his contract, Verga remains in Canada waiting for the governor's final approval.

Attorney General's Office spokesperson Carlina Charfauros says the office received Verga's contract last Thursday afternoon and it is currently under review. Once approved, the contract will be forwarded to the governor for his final approval.

Verga's contract was rejected and sent back to the hospital in order to make revisions to comply with the law including the deletion of a severance pay clause and changing the weight amount for the items that Verga will ship to Guam.
