Guam - Local trash hauler TrashCo may receive a notice of violation for illegal dumping. According to Guam Environmental Protection Agency solid waste program manager Roland Gutierrez, the company was looking to send to a message to the Department of Public Health, who failed to pay their bill. Wednesday morning the trash hauler picked up the trash bins and left the trash.

"Once it becomes in their possession, and possession which we believe, once it's in the dumpster, when they put it on the truck they were obviously in possession of it and they picked it up and dumped it and now they're dumping on public property," he said.

Gutierrez says instead of writing a ticket for a $100 fine, the Guam EPA is looking to issue an NOV for illegal dumping, which will be ready in two weeks.
