Guam - A Dededo resident learned the hard way that being untruthful to authorities can get you in trouble. A federal complaint was filed in the District Court today against Joseph Mitchell Casil. He's accused of concealing the location of a fugitive.

U.S. Marshals went to Casil's home in Liguan Terrace on Wednesday looking for a local fugitive they believed was staying there. According to court documents, Casil said he didn't know where the wanted individual was. Federal Marshals continued surveillance on the home and caught the fugitive, along with Casil and another man trying to leave the home several hours later.

Casil is charged with concealing material facts.
