Guam - Federal authorities were hot in pursuit of a fugitive on Tuesday afternoon when the person they were chasing decided to make a run for it. KUAM News has confirmed that Marshals tried to pull over James Francisco Song - but instead of complying, he led them on a lengthy chase that ended on dairy road in Mangilao. Song had a warrant out relative to a pending criminal case in the Superior Court.
His name may sound familiar. He is currently fighting the federal government's efforts to take $47,000 away from him. Song was found in possession of the cash when he arrived in Hawaii last October. The feds contend the money is tied to drugs and Song, in an interview with authorities, admitted that he used the drug Ice and purchases meth from a distributor and sells small amounts for cash.
