Guam - New administrator of the Guam Memorial Hospital Joseph Verga should have been on Guam and working already but his revised contract still hasn't made its way back to the Attorney General's Office for review. The GMH Board of Trustees and Verga agreed upon the $200,000+ a year salary, plus benefits and relocation expenses.
The AG's Office sent the contract back to the hospital to make revisions including getting rid of the severance pay provision and changing the weight of the items for the shipment of his personal effects. The contract needs approval of the AG and Governor Eddie Calvo before Verga will make arrangements to come to Guam and begin his new job.
