Guam - The Department of Revenue & Taxation will be hosting the All-Islands Tax Administrator Association Conference this week. According to agency officials, the purpose of the Association is to discuss changes, developments and implementation of United States tax laws as they apply to the country's possessions and territories that "mirror" the Internal Revenue Code.
Issues that are expected to be discussed include the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, the Affordable Care Act, new tax credits and more. Representatives from the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Marshall Islands will be in attendance.
The conference will be held Tuesday through Thursday.
