Guam - If you're looking to set up a tent at the Liberation Parade next weekend, be warned. Department of Parks and Recreations recreations administrator Joseph Mendiola said, "If there's slots that are vacant and somebody sets up there, we're going to say you either pay up or you move out," he said,

DPR issued an estimated 300 permits along the parade route this morning. This is the first year the entire route from the Adelup to Paseo Park will require permitting. Mendiola says this is to encourage parade goers to pick up after themselves. In the past, it's taken DPR a week to clean up Marine Corps Drive.

It's not too late to obtain a permit. Fees are $50 per space as well as $75 that will be refunded three business days after the parade provided trash is removed and there are no damages to the park area.
