Guam - Guam Police are interviewing family members who arrived on Guam as well as speaking with the wife of 67-year-old Hiroshi Shirai via phone in Japan to find out Shirai's intentions on the island. Shirai was last seen checking into his hotel room at the Nikko in Tumon on July 2.

He was scheduled to return back to Japan on July 7, but never made it. Authorities swept the entire Tumon area Wednesday, but found no sign of Shirai. If anyone has information, you are asked to call GPD or Crimestoppers at 477-HELP (4357).
