Guam - A third defendant in a federal case that was scheduled to go to trial next week changed his plea to guilty today. Dedrick Aguon is accused of driving Balbino Leon Guerrero and Dwayne San Nicolas to Nana's Store in Agana Heights in September of last year so the two could rob the owner at gunpoint.
Aguon admitted to Hobbs Act robbery and aiding and abetting the brandishing of a firearm during a crime of violence. Aguon, Leon Guerrero and San Nicolas face a minimum of seven years behind bars and a maximum of life in prison. All three remain in the custody of U.S. Marshals awaiting future court hearings.
