Justin Santos maintains innocence

Guam - In court and pleading not guilty, 31-year-old Justin Santos. He's accused of extorting money from a family member by claiming he was kidnapped and being held hostage and being held at gunpoint.

The stress eventually sent the victim to the hospital.  According to court documents he confessed to police that he made the story up because he needed gambling money.

His trial setting is scheduled for August 14.
