Guam - The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority and the Guam Housing Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding committing a total of $2.39 million to the AS-ATDAS Affordable Housing Project. The combined funding sources will cover costs associated with market study analysis, a comprehensive environmental review, a comprehensive master plan and a pre-development and development costs.
The master plan meanwhile focuses on the development of a healthy and sustainable mixed income, mixed use neighborhood of affordable multi-family rental housing, green spaces and commercial facilities.
The AS-ATDAS Affordable Housing Project is one of many identified developments in Governor Eddie Calvo's five-year strategic plan to build affordable homes. The project is located along Chalan Eskuela in Yigo, between F.B. Leon Guerrero Middle School and Wusstig Road.
