Guam - Recently selected Guam Memorial Hospital administrator Joseph Verga's contract is now at the Bureau of Budget and Management Research. The contract must be signed-off on by the AG as well as the governor, but Leonardo Rapadas won't review it until he receives a hard copy of the revised agreement.

The contract was sent back to the agency for several revisions that included getting rid of the severance pay provision and changing the weight of the items for the shipment of Verga's personal effects to comply wit the law.

The changes resulted in a delay in Verga's arrival to Guam, which was anticipated last week. Verga tells KUAM News that once the contract is signed by the governor he will be able to determine when he will be coming to Guam, but he doesn't expect to be delayed too long.

Verga says he is looking forward to a new beginning and a bright future for the Guam Memorial Hospital and the people of Guam.
