Guam - A convicted sex offender finds himself back behind bars after he was accused yet again of allegedly molesting a 6-year-old girl. Level III sex offender Brian Jay Tenorio, 27, was taken in custody this afternoon and being questioned for allegedly sexually molesting a young girl in his Yona home this morning.

Guam Police Department spokesperson Sergeant Elizabeth Flickenger says the allegations stem from a woman who allowed her 6-year-old daughter to play outside in their front yard located down the street from Tenorio's residence. "Fifteen minutes later while making a check on her child she noticed that the child was not in the yard. She immediately made a check of the neighbors and the neighbors claim they have not seen the child."

Police say the girl's mother started to panic and headed down the street towards Tenorio's home. Sergeant Flickenger says the victim's mother knew where to check, as the neighborhood is aware of Tenorio's criminal past. "Where she banged on the door however there was no answer. Ten minutes later she leaves and then ten minutes later she comes back; she bangs on the door again and this time he answers," she detailed.

"He answers the door and the mother asks, 'Where's my child?' He claims the child was in his home watching TV. At this point the child darts out and runs all the way to her house."

The mother chases after her child to find out what happened. "She discloses while she was going to go out to play he grabbed her and took her to his house and at this point he touches her," she said.

Asked about the nature of the touching, Flickenger said, "That's still pending Healing Hearts' examination, but more than likely it's penetration."

Tenorio was convicted for sexually molesting a 7-year-old girl in 2005. He was just released from prison in December 2011 after serving his six-year sentence and is currently on probation.

Tenorio was booked and confined on charges of with kidnapping, 1st degree criminal sexual conduct, child abuse and felonious restraint. This year alone the Attorney General's Lanikate Task Force reports 74 criminal sexual conduct arrests were made in 2011, and 22 arrests for forcible rape.
