Guam - The Guam Memorial Hospital has returned the contract for new hospital administrator Joseph Verga to the Attorney General's Office. But apparently they need to transmit a hard copy, not just an electronic version. AG's Office spokesperson Carlina Charfauros says the contract was transmitted via e-mail on Friday but the office won't proceed with its review until they receive a hard copy of the revised contract.
The contract was sent back to the hospital for a few changes. The AG's Office has not disclosed what changes were necessary, citing attorney/client privilege. Verga agreed to a base salary of $200,000 a year with benefits, relocation expenses and a one-time stipend.
