Rudy Iriarte

Born and raised in Sinajana, Democrat Vice-Mayoral candidate Rudy, at age 37, is no stranger to helping the community.  He is the son of Matilde Sablan Iriarte and Danny DeLeon Jose and has three brothers and four sisters.   His maternal grandparents are the late +Ana Aquiningoc Sablan and Ignacio Duenas Iriate (familian Berete, Dimas) A product of public education- he attended C.L. Taitano Elementary School, Agueda Johnston Middle School, George Washington High School and Guam Community College Vocational Tech.

His work experience includes working in the private sector for four years in the service industry.   He has also worked for the Department of Education, Division of Special Education as a One to One Aide for several years.

Rudy has attended numerous trainings and received certificates from the Department of Education, Office of Civil Defense, Homeland Security and the Mayors' Council of Guam for emergency response and management, bio-chemical hazards, shelter management, and weather spotting.  

A big part of Rudy's life is his devotion to his Catholic faith.  Rudy volunteers his time at the parish of St. Jude Thaddeus as a Choir Member and Religion Teacher for over 22 years and is a strong advocate for Pro-life!  

For the last 8 years he was employed at the Sinajana Mayor's Office as the Municipal Clerk and the Special Projects Coordinator whose programs include the popular Summer and Christmas Camps, the Senior Citizens special events and currently also serves as the office liaison for the Sinajana sports teams.  

Aside from his duties as the Municipal Clerk, he is also the Department and Agency liaison for the Office of the Mayor working tirelessly to improve and resolve water issues, power issues, streetlights, the environment, and public works issues.   He is a trusted adviser to Mayor Roke Blas and Vice Mayor Robert Hofmann on policies and programs regarding youth, community programs, intervention, health and manamko.  

He is a dedicated government employee, a leader and a trusted friend.  With proven hard work, determination, unwavering commitment, and his willingness to work with anyone and everyone, he promises to advance the interests of the Sinajana community.

Through his experiences, Sinajana Vice-Mayoral candidate Rudy Iriarte has gained the knowledge of service and leadership, but most especially the loyalty for the people that all public servants should possess.
