Bio:
Manuel Okazaki Duenas was born and raised in Sinajana. He attended Sinajana Elementary School, St. Jude Thaddeus School, and graduated from Father Duenas Memorial School.
Manuel is no stranger to hard work and public service. He served as tradesman (Rigger), Rigger Shop Planner, Planner & Estimator, and Production Shop Planner with the US Naval Ship Repair Facility for 28 years. After retiring from civil service, he worked for the Agency for Human Resources Development, Department of Commerce, and private sector.
He is a member of the St. Jude Parish Knights of Columbus and serves as the Financial Secretary and Faithful Comptroller for the St. Jude Thaddeus Council and Assembly, Finance Council, and extraordinary minister.
Additionally, he is a member of the Young Men's League of Guam, an organization dedicated to preserving Guam's culture, and has in the past served as the Finance Committee Chairperson and Treasurer.
