More file for Decision 2012
Bureau of Statistics and Plans director Tommy Morisson filed his candidacy for senator late this afternoon.
Guam - With one day until the deadline to file candidacy for the 2012 election, another new name has thrown himself in the mix, as Bureau of Statistics and Plans director Tommy Morisson filed his candidacy for senator late this afternoon. He wants to aggressively work with village mayors in expanding and strengthening village, youth and afterschool programs.
"And I want to assist in reshaping the direction of our Guam Legislature to brining more support to our village mayors and being conducive to a prosperous economy," he said. Morrison is the former executive director of the Guam Contractors License Board and the former director of Parks and Recs.
Newcomer Karlo Dizon meanwhile filed his candidacy for the congressional race under the Democratic Party this afternoon as well. He has held numerous internships and worked with the justice and regulatory affairs team at the white house. Also filing his candidacy for congress Jonathon Diaz who is running as an independent candidate
The deadline to file your candidacy for the senatorial, mayoral, Congress and public auditor race is Tuesday, July 3.
