Guam - Boaters beware: the Guam Police Department's Harbor Patrol Division will be out in full force this 4th of July conducting boating under the influence (BUI) checkpoints around the island. Police will be looking for boaters driving under the influence on Wednesday.

Boaters are reminded that operating a boat while intoxicated is just as bad as drinking and driving, and you will be booked and confined if caught. Again, GPD will be patrolling Guam's shores this Wednesday looking for anyone who may be operating their boat while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
