Sailors re-arrested for massage parlor incident

Guam - Two US Navy sailors accused of the attempted robbery near the Liberation Casino were re-arrested for allegedly robbing the Best Massage and Hanna Shiatsu Massage early Tuesday morning. Anthony Mayers, 22, and Justin Daniel Miska, 21, were charged with 2nd degree robbery, attempted 2nd degree robbery, two counts of possession and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery, two counts of terrorizing, and reckless conduct.
Mayers faces an additional 2 counts of criminal facilitation. The pair allegedly used an air soft pistol to threaten the victim for money. Court documents state the men were drinking alcohol, and told authorities the alleged robberies were only a joke. GPD spokesperson Sgt. Mike Aguon says through the assistance of NCIS, both sailors were found responsible for the robberies as well as a burglary reported on Naval Station.
Aguon says the Robbery Task Force continues to further investigate all recent robberies to determine if its related.
