Guam - According to court documents they thought of it as a joke. But its no laughing matter.

21-year-old Justin Miska and 22-year-old Michael Anthony Mayers were arrested last night accused in Tuesday morning's early morning robbery at the Liberation Carnival. According to court documents the two had been drinking and thought of robbing someone as a prank. Well the joke was on them as surveillance video caught the two men leaving the scene of the crime.

Mayers and Miska allegedly held a man at gunpoint in a bathroom stall located near the carnival casino.

GPD spokesperson Sergeant Mike Aguon said, "They were able to identify an individual which led to us seeking the assistance of the Criminal Investigation Section at Naval Station NCIS and with their help we were able to locate this individual interview him and place him under arrest."

The two are U.S. Navy seamen assigned to the Maritime Expeditionary Security Group One Detachment and according to court documents used air soft pistols to commit the crime. The pair were in court this afternoon.

Assistant AG Gabrielle Rossi said, "Although neither of the defendants have a criminal history, the charges are incredibly serious. The alleged weapon that was used turned out to be an air pistol however it was chosen apparently for the fact that is looked realistic and scared the victim in this case. Intensely to the point where he was afraid for his life, and for all those reasons we ask for $100,000 cash bail for both defendants."

But Superior Court Judge Alberto Tolentino decided to instead hold the two on $25,000 cash bail. If convicted, the two could face up to ten years in jail and a $10,000 fine. Both have a preliminary hearing set for July 6.
