Guam - According To Consolidates Commission on Utilities chairman Simon Sanchez, he along with GPA management should be meeting to finally bring relief to customers who received drastic increases in their bills. "And I learned today that they have appeared to resolve that and there may be some 800 of our customers who will get a credit and put in the proper class and I think they may have even gone all the way back to 2005. So almost half of the 1,500 customers, I think, will get a resolution that we may be able to announce by the end of the week if not tomorrow," he said.
At a briefing with lawmakers last week, management said they would need about 90 days to look back on accounts and make the necessary adjustments to the rate classes.
