Guam - Providence International Christian Academy owners William and Paula Schmidt are holding tight until the Guam Land Use Commission will hear their case to obtain a conditional use permit to operate their school in Tamuning. The GLUC met earlier this month to address PICA, but delayed any decision because the schools notice requirement was fatally flawed as well as possible impacts to the community including increase in traffic through the neighborhood.

PICA has been operating without various permits from the island's regulatory agencies. According to co-owner Paula Schmidt, the GLUC has moved the hearing to July 12.
