Principals learn about standards

Guam - The island's 40 school administrators are getting schooled on standards this week. According to Department of Education deputy superintendent Rob Malay, the three-day leadership conference has principals learning from one another.
On Wednesday principals took surveys that showed school standards are skewed across the island. The remainder of the week will focus on the implementation of the common core state standards and voices from the field where teachers will share best practices in the classroom.
