Bell schedule still unclear

Guam - Next year's high school bell schedule remains unclear. At Wednesday morning's Guam Education Board meeting, member Joe San Agustin motioned to reconsider the decision to implement 4AB scheduling.
"There wasn't enough stakeholder input to support the 4AB and at the same token as the Governor's Educational Learning Task Force is going around we're finding out that not one size fits all so something to reconsider," he said.
Chairman Francis Santos and member Barry Mead voted against the motion. The board is now seeking an expedited opinion from the Attorney General's Office because although majority voted in favor, it was not a two-thirds vote since Paul Pineda and Mary Camacho were not present.
Mead contends that a motion to reconsider the 4AB decision is four months overdue. The board will call a special meeting to address the issue once the AG gives input.
