Guam - A man who was paid $10,000 to marry a woman so she could stay in the United States was sentenced to two years probation.  James Rivera admitted to marriage fraud.

The couple was charged in the District Court last year after federal authorities learned their marriage was a sham. His wife, Jin Han Rivera, received the same sentence and was deported back to Korea because her visa had expired.
