Tamannalon changes plea to misdemeanor

Guam - She has spent nearly the last four years waiting to find out if she will go to trial for the death of her toddler. In court today Christina Tamannalon was ready to accept a plea agreement charging her with misdemeanor child neglect in exchange for felony charges being dropped. Tamannalon was arrested in October 2008 on charges of negligent homicide and child abuse.
The charges stem from the death of her 2-year-old son, who went missing during a family outing at Tanguission Beach. The boy's body was later found floating miles away in the waters off Piti. Tamannalon is scheduled to change her plea at her next hearing on July 26.
