Colorado fugitive pleads not guilty

A Colorado fugitive who was picked up by U.S. Marshals earlier this month remains in federal custody after pleading not guilty to a charge of failing to register as a sex offender.

Guam - A Colorado fugitive who was picked up by U.S. Marshals earlier this month remains in federal custody after pleading not guilty to a charge of failing to register as a sex offender.  Michael David Montgomery appeared for an arraignment in the District Court of Guam today.

He fled to Guam but is wanted in Colorado for violating his probation. In 2008 he pled guilty to incest, sexual assault, contributing the delinquency of a minor and unlawful sexual contact.

Trial is set for August 22.
