Guam - Nearly nine months after breaking ground, the Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority in partnership with the Ilocano Association of Guam, held the ribbon-cutting for the Macheche Neighborhood Multipurpose Facility in Dededo today.

GHURA executive director Ray Topasna told KUAM News, "Today through the commitment and tenacity of the Ilocano Association of Guam, you're looking at a facility equipped with offices, conference rooms, activity room to hold training, kitchenette, a basketball court and ample parking for all that will now have access to a quality community facility in Macheche."

The project cost over $800,000 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant Program.
