Guam - After closing early two days late last week, the Department of Revenue & Taxation was open for business today with a new air conditioner blowing cool air through the Barrigada facility. According to director John Camacho, JWS was able to install the 75-ton A/C over the weekend and continued work on it today. He adds there are some concerns that the far end of Rev & Tax might not be receiving as much cool air, so they are working to install the second 75-ton A/C in the next three to five days.

Meanwhile, it was evident through the lines that several residents were making up for lost time as the lines for vehicle registration and driver's license renewal were longer than usual. Camacho says they were putting additional staff to move the line faster due to closing the past two days.
