Guam - The Department of Parks and Recreation is looking to give Ypao Beach Park a facelift. According to DPW director Pete Calvo, the agency is currently working on obtaining price quotations to restore the park's main pavilion.

"If you look at the Ypao area, most of the smaller pavilions already have been restored by the Rotary Club and our other partners," he shared. "They've done a great job and now we're looking at trying to assess the main pavilion to be restored, as well."

It's been 20 years since the park received any work. Calvo says he's working with private partners to fund the restoration.
