Guam - Four months since a break-in was reported at the Department of Corrections Visitation Processing Center, and the agency is still having a hard time finding the culprit. DepCor director Jose San Agustin says his Internal Affairs division is still investigating, adding the department has taken progressive steps to prevent future break-ins at the compound.

"The thing is we are almost at a dead end in finding what happened and who may be part of it so we continue to investigate and we are also reinforcing that facility to make sure that kind of criminal activity takes place in prison" he said.

In March, vandals entered and pried-open a PayTell machine, stealing an undisclosed amount of money. San Agustin says the investigation remains inconclusive if an inmate was involved.
