GLUC to discuss PICA in July

Guam - The Guam Land Use Commission met this afternoon where commissioners discussed a conditional use and a zone variance from two applicants for retail stores in lower zone areas. However, what wasn't on the agenda was the conditional use permit for Providence International Christian Academy, which has been operating without proper permits in Tamuning.
According to GLUC chairman Jay Lather, PICA instead will be on the July agenda as the school still has to deal with some technical issues with notice requirement such as the school's sign. "It's up to the applicant to do that of course, they have some serious issues and we look forward to seeing their application come back," he said.
Last month the Commission reserved making an affirmative decision because the notice requirement was "fatally flawed".
