Guam - Whether you were checking to see if you had a tax refund or renewing your driver's license, you may have noticed the heat or were even turned away as Rev & Tax closed at 11 this morning after experiencing air conditioning problems at its Barrigada location. According to director John Camacho, A/C units were leaking Freon and with no windows in the facility, had no choice but to close its operations.

"We want to apologize for any inconvenience but this is something beyond our control, air condition compressors are down, and they can't fix it during the day so I was assured that they will fix it by tomorrow morning," he said.

Guam Fire Department was on hand to assist people experiencing heat problems. And even though A/C problems have caused Rev & Tax to close in the past, Camacho says there isn't a need to move as by mid-July a new air conditioning system should be in stalled. He adds with many deadlines such as business license renewals, he has instructed the business license section to extend the deadline a day.
