Guam - One of the men involved in last month's armed robbery at Golden Motel in Tamuning was released from prison today. Daniel Gumataotao was released to three third-party custodians on a $50,000 performance bond. He must remain on house arrest until his trial setting on June 19.

He and his co-defendant, Ignacio Gumataotao pled not guilty to a slew of charges including first degree robbery, burglary, aggravated assault and possession and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony today. The two allegedly robbed a guest at the motel taking a bag that contained drugs and cell phones. Ignacio will find out on June 19 if he too can be released to a third party custodian.

As for the third co-defendant, Darwin Pondivida, his arraignment will be held later this month. Attorney Randy Cunliffe was appointed to represent Pondivida today.
