Swimming & water safety program in Hagatna

Guam - The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse's Prevention and Training Branch is partnering with Youth for Youth Live to host the 17th Annual Summer Youth Swimming and Water Safety Program.  It begins this Friday with a parent orientation and student swim assessment at the Hagatna Pool. 

The six-week program will teach kids about swimming, water safety, tennis, positive action workshops, and help them with building personal and life skills and making healthy lifestyle choices.

The program will be held at the Hagatna Swimming Pool from 8 in the morning until noon on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Registration is open for kids between the ages of 5 and 15 and the fee is $75.  For more information you can contact the PEACE Office at 477-9079-83.
