Guam - If you haven't paid your power bill in the past 30 days or more, you'd better do so soon. The Guam Power Authority will be disconnecting electric utilities and private streetlight accounts islandwide.

GPA spokesperson Art Perez says customers are strongly urged to keep their accounts current as accounts disconnected for five working days or more must reapply for electric service with all charges to be assessed. "It's a lot easier to pay your bill and make arrangements if you're delinquent than it is to go through the process of reconnecting your disconnected account, it's very cost prohibitive," he said.

GPA customers are advised to make payments directly at GPA customer service locations to avoid reconnection charges.
