Former corrections officer will stand trial

Guam - Former Department of Corrections officer Aric Garcia will go to trial next week. He faces charges of advanced stalking and violating a court order. He was arrested last year for allegedly violating a restraining order against him that was filed by a woman known to him.

As we reported, Garcia was arrested several times on family violence, assault and drug charges. Jury selection and trial is scheduled for June 20 at 9am.
