Plaques taken from Asan beach park

Guam - Police are looking for those responsible for stealing pieces of the 3rd Marine Corps Division marble plaques at the War in the Pacific National Park in Asan. Guam Police received the theft of property complaint early this morning.

Thieves made off with a three-point star, and the words "Fidelity and Honor". Police say there is no dollar value of the items, but that it's symbolic in that the monument is a representation of the marine division on Guam. Anyone with information is asked to call police immediately.
