Guam - Nobody showed up to testify at this morning's public hearing on 20 new fees that have been introduced at the Guam Memorial Hospital.  The fees are for radiology, laboratory and operating room services.

GMH interim administrator Rey Vega says in an effort to improve finances and capture the true cost of services being provided to patients, the hospital is reviewing all of its services. He said, "On a regular basis we're looking at the introduction of new services associated with our new services so we try to introduce new fees."

The 20 new fees will be presented to the Board of Trustees for their approval and then transmitted to the Guam Legislature.
