Guam - Apparently, it's not a done deal. While Department of Education superintendent-select Jon Fernandez announced earlier this week that he signed his four-year agreement to run the agency, he may have signed the wrong contract.

Guam Education Board member Rosie Tainatango confirms with KUAM News that she was surprised when she learned that the final contract included 22 days of leave and insurance that were not approved by the board. The board is scheduled to have a teleconference with Fernandez on Friday.

The Attorney General's Office meanwhile sent the contract back to the department due to various oversights by DOE's legal counsel.
