Superintendent's contract under review

Guam - Department of Education superintendent-select Jon Fernandez may have signed his contract to head GovGuam's largest agency, but it still needs the green light from the AG's Office and the governor. Interim superintendent Taling Taitano says they are in the process of certifying the funds and hoped to have it transmitted today to the AG's Office. 

Fernandez's contract is for the next four years with an annual salary of $150,000. He hopes to be on island mid-June to begin his duties.
