Indictment against alleged drug smuggler

Guam - A federal indictment has been handed down against a Korean man who was found trying to smuggle more than 400 grams of crystal methamphetamine into Guam. Hwang Gyoo Choi is charged with importation of the drug Ice. As we reported the drugs were found in a hidden compartment in Choi's luggage.

Choi arrived to Guam from Korea on a flight from the Philippines. He remains in the custody of U.S. Marshals awaiting an arraignment, scheduled for June 4.
