Typhoon workshop in Tumon

Guam - Today kicked-off a two-day workshop on typhoon and disaster preparedness. It's an annual seminar for GovGuam and non-government agencies hosted by Guam Homeland Security Office of Civil Defense and the National Weather Service.

This week marks Typhoon Preparedness Week, which encourages island residents and visitors to be mindful of the threat of a typhoon. The workshop wraps up tomorrow at the Marriott.
