Guam - Legislation was introduced by Senator Tom Ada that hopes to provide benefits to spouses or legal guardians of servicemembers who either died serving our country, or received 100% disability. There are 349 veterans from Guam who have been deemed fully disabled or individually unemployable.

Veteran Tom Devlin says Bill 462 is long overdue, telling KUAM News, "A lot of the 100% veterans can't get out of the house and some of them cant drive, the spouses or those that take care of them do most of the work and its time that they get some of the support also."

Senator Ada says the bill will go up for public hearing on June 5, and he hopes to get it on the June session agenda.
