Guam - Agents with the Guam Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division arrested a man in connection with an assault that occurred on Sunday. Acting GPD Spokesperson Sergeant Liz Flickenger says Dededo Precinct officers responded to a disturbance call in Yigo. A 54-year-old man was found lying in a pool of blood inside his home.

Police were able to determine that the victim and Lenster Lucas had been drinking at the back of the residence when a fight erupted. The victim sustained head trauma and was transported to the Naval Hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition after undergoing surgery this weekend.

Lucas was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and possession and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.
