Guam - 51-year-old Port Authority of Guam employee Eddie Cruz Taitano was released from jail this weekend. According to court documents, Port Police last Thursday noticed Taitano drive a black pickup truck through the gate and to the Port's lower tower in the container yard.

It is a secured area of the compound that Taitano is not supposed to have access to and it's also the reason officials placed the facility on lockdown for three hours last week.

Documents state Port Police found a plastic straw in the bed of the truck and three concealed small plastic bags containing the drug Ice. Cruz faces charges of drug possession as a 3rd degree felony and criminal trespass. Port management is conducting its own investigation and have not commented on the worker's arrest.

Taitano was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
