Guam - The Civil Service Commission will hold a hearing on Thursday for a Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority employee who is appealing his termination. Jesse Q. Gofigan was fired last September, accused of making inappropriate sexual comments to a GHURA tenant.
The agency had substantiated allegations against Gofigan that he had sexually harassed the tenant, acted disrespectfully, and inexcusably neglected the performance of his assigned duties which caused discredit to the authority.
Gofigan was found to have violated GHURA's policies, rules and regulations by his actions. He is appealing the termination and the Commission is scheduled to hear his case this Thursday at 5:45 in the evening.
