Be storm-safe, Guam

Guam - Civil Defense asks that when your out driving to please exercise caution because of the heavy rain, there will be flooded roads that create unsafe driving conditions. We can't stress this enough that you should stay out of the water because high surf and the strong currents can be life threatening.

If you haven't done so already, you need to prepare your home by securing canopies or any other loose outdoor items that could become airborne as the winds pick up.

And finally make sure you're home is stocked with emergency supply kits, including food and water.
